It keeps getting hotter :c
Hey there! How’s it going? How was Connor last week? I found his ramblings quite enjoyable and appreciated the reminder that Bloons Tower Defense exists. I played that game a good deal when I was younger and remember enjoying the ease of the gameplay. What’s simpler then monkeys popping balloons? Really nothing and ya know why?
Anyhow, how were things last week? We’re now officially in the Summer season. Yay? It’s not as fun now that I’m not in school anymore. I really don’t enjoy the Texas summers. Now I’m just annoyed that it’s going to be hot out like most of the Northern Hemisphere. The weather was much nicer in Connecticut when I visited last week. Speaking of, if you have a second, I’d like to talk to you about my trip. It’ll be brief and with some photos! Let’s get into it.
Connecticut Trip 2022
This was Katie and I’s first trip on our own as a couple. Not only that, it was our first time exploring the New England area of the U.S. A lot of personality to the state, I saw it often in the local businesses we visited. Maybe that’s because I was a tourist and ya know, don’t live in the state. Who knows? We went to the Road Jam Music Festival on our first full day and got to listen to part of Dante Elephante‘s set and the entirety of Sammy Rae & The Friends. It was a fun event that had local vendors and food trucks. It wasn’t too crowded either! People were nice enough, no complaints really. Anyway, here are some photos from the trip and video footage of a discovery Katie and I had:
The food we had was pretty tasty, especially that lobster roll on our last full day. I was told by Katie that the beers she had over our stay were good so there’s that. It was a fun trip, a solid 4/5, wouldn’t say no to returning. Where to next? Who knows, at least I don’t. Katie has an interest in Maine. That could be cool, I haven’t been there. Hmm. Hey, why don’t we wrap this up?
So long and farewell
Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back soon enough with some more random chatting. Until then, please enjoy this funk trio from Germany that I stumbled across. Be well and be safe. Talk at ya soon!
